Film Four

Film Four is now 'free to air'

Film Four is now Free to Air - ie you can watch it without a subscription, and without a sky digibox (if you have a skydigibox this will now show Film Four).

For those of you with a standard digital decoder (as bought in France) you will now be able to receive Film Four - you may need to tune the stations in - if your decoder doesn't do this automatically, use the following details:

  • Frequency: 10.729
  • Polarization: V
  • Sym: 22
  • FEC: 5/6
 

ITV

ITV channels 'free to air'

ITV channels (that is ITV1, ITV2 and ITV3) have become 'free to air'. This means that you can now watch them with your digital decoder without the need for a viewing card.

For those of you with a sky-digibox without a card, or with an expired card, you should be able to receive these channels.

For those of you with a standard digital decoder (as bought in France) you will now be able to receive the ITV channels - you may need to tune the stations in - see our help sheet on ITV regions for help on how to do this.

 

ITV4 launched

A new channel, ITV4, has been launched by ITV. From Monday 7 November 2005 this will be available to those of you with Sky digiboxes as channel 120.

Those of you with a standard digital decoder can find ITV4 by tuning to:

  • Frequency: 10.758
  • Polarization: V
  • Symbol rate: 22.0
  • FEC: 5/6
